Jr. Network Administrator
IMMEDIATE OPENING:

American Integration, Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and Cisco SMB Select Partner, is a leading IT solutions and management firm serving the small to medium business market in the DFW metroplex.
AI has an immediate opening for a Jr. Network Administrator skilled at providing excellent remote and face to face customer service and technical expertise. This position will expose the right candidate to to a variety of technologies and present the opportunity to gain experience across a number of platforms and practices.

Requirements:
  • The candidate will have 2+ years of experience providing remote and onsite technical support to end user customers as well as possess troubleshooting and basic server administration skills, including backup, antivirus and applying security updates.
     
  • Possess excellent face to face and telephone customer service etiquette and communications skills, both written and oral
     
  • Work well in a team/collaborative environment
     
  • Be a current Microsoft MCP in Windows Server 2003 and Cisco CCNA
     
  • Must have a valid TX drivers license as local onsite technical service is required
Responsibilities:
  • Receive help desk calls and provide remote support to clients
     
  • Travel onsite to customer locations to provide support and maintenance as needed in conjunction with Network Managers and Engineers
     
  • Serve as backup NOC monitoring technician as required
     
  • Track time/billing as well as record activity history in our online help desk/CRM tool
     
  • Actively seek new opportunities and solutions for clients to increase value to our clients and revenue for the company
     
  • Obtain additional technical certifications as required

Network Administrator

AI has an immediate opening for a Network Administrator skilled at providing excellent remote and face to face customer service and technical expertise. This position will expose the right candidate to to a variety of technologies and present the opportunity to gain experience across a number of platforms and practices.

Requirements:
  • 3 years demonstrable direct experience with managing and supporting Windows NT/2000/2003 and AD environments and relative desktop platforms using published and learned best-practices
     
  • Possess excellent face to face and telephone customer service etiquette and communications skills, both written and oral
     
  • Work well in a team/collaborative environment
     
  • Experience with the deployment, management and troubleshooting of server backup systems and software
     
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003
     
  • Possess strong infrastructure troubleshooting skills and techniques to solve complex and new issues
     
  • Possess Cisco router and troubleshooting experience
     
  • Knowledge and experience working with all aspects of TCP/IP configuration
     
  • Experience with network management platforms and monitoring systems a plus
     
  • Technical knowledge of data cabling installation and troubleshooting
    Troubleshooting and thought process skills

     
  • Must have a valid TX drivers license as local onsite technical service is required
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively monitor client networks and respond rapidly to issues
     
  • Serve as primary contact for network management, support and solutions consulting
     
  • Work to understand business needs toward identifying and recommending solutions to make operations more efficient and cost-saving as well as to avoid potential technology pitfalls
     
  • Work closely with the Help Desk staff for coordination of issues and onsite support/projects
     
  • Obtain additional technical certifications as required
