American Integration, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator skilled at providing excellent remote and face to face customer service and technical expertise. The candidate will provide systems administration, project management, consulting and support. We provide excellent opportunities to be exposed to new technologies in a variety of environments.
Duties
- Work with clients, addressing their IT administration, support and and project consulting needs
- Work with clients to understand their business needs toward identifying and recommending solutions to make operations more efficient and avoid technology pitfalls
- Ensure that clients' infrastructure is healthy, stable and configured with accepted IT best practices
- Stay abreast of clients' needs at all times and address with urgency
- Communicate constantly with co-workers and clients to ensure clients' expectations are met and exceeded
Requirements
- Possess a broad range of technical expertise, including:
- Firewall support and configuration
- Switch installation, configuration and troubleshooting with VLAN and QoS configuration
- Router installation, configuration and troubleshooting as well as associated WAN technologies such as MPLS
- Advanced Tier 1 (Dell, HP) server hardware and associated technologies
- Server OS and associated technologies' project management, installation, configuration and troubleshooting (Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2, Exchange 2003/2007/2010, Active Directory, corporate antivirus, updating software)
- Virtualization with VMWare/vCenter and Hyper-V
- Advanced Windows and Apple workstation installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Preferably have worked in the IT services industry providing solutions and support to clients
- Ability to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills
- Strong infrastructure troubleshooting skills and techniques to solve complex issues with the ability to work as a team member
- Possess at least 3 years direct experience with installing, managing and supporting the above mentioned infrastructure
- Strong customer interaction, etiquette and follow-up skills
- Experience with telecom and VoIP telephone systems a significant plus
- Must pass a background check and have never received a felony or Class A or B misdemeanor conviction

- Sonicwall CSSA
- Current Microsoft MCTS/MCITP Server or Enterprise Administrator certification
